Join Easter Night Run in Baguio for A Child’s DREAM – Apr 2011

DREAM Easter 5K Aug 23 Baguio Night Run (Small)

Jonel C. Mendoza of Frontrunner Magazine and Dr. Francis Xavier Dimalanta, Founder & Medical Director of A Child’s DREAM Foundation, Inc.  announce the April 23rd Night Run in Baguio for the benefit of A Child’s DREAM. It is a 5k night run to be held on April 23 at 630pm. It will start & end at the old John Hay Main Gate in front of Nevada Square. Runners are advised to bring headlamps or flashlights or any blinking lights or any reflective apparel. Php 250 registration fee include finisher’s t-shirt, the race number and some freebies. Part of the fee will go to A Child’s DREAM Foundation, Inc. Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for special children. Starting March 21, 2011 until Saturday Apr 23, at 9 am onwards participants may register with Che Alberto @ her Laperal Bldg. office along Session Road 0917 745 0378. Team Logan ran for A Child’s DREAM – Feb 2011

 

Team Logan (Craig & Michelle Logan with their son Justin) ran in the North Carolina marathon to raise funds to donate pediatric physical therapy/occupational therapy equipment for A Child’s DREAM Foundation, Inc., Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for children with special needs.

Pursuits for A Child’s DREAM – Dec 2010

A Child’s DREAM Foundation, Inc., Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for special children, was the beneficiary of the Kumon Baguio Study Center on their Family Day activity last August 2010 & their belated Christmas Concert in January 2011. Maria Luisa G. Perez, Kumon Baguio Study Center’s Proprietor and the Kumon Baguio teachers, parents and students performed for the benefit of DREAM.

Concert for A Child’s DREAM Foundation – Feb 2010

 

Bringing youthful enthusiasm to the concert was 14 year old Musical Theater prodigy Julia Abueva. Julia has performed in concerts and musicals in Singapore and the Philippines since she was 5 years old, sharing the spotlight with world class talents Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson, Deborah Gibson, among others. She was handpicked by Oprah Winfrey as one of the ”World’s Most Talented Kids” and sang at the 2009 APEC summit for U.S. President Barack Obama and other world leaders. Julia is the youngest consultant of Encore!, the Musical Theater School of Pocketful of Kids. Julia dedicated one song about dreams to A Child’s DREAM, Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for special children.

Yoga for A Child’s DREAM Foundation – Oct 2009

The only yoga competition in the country, the Philippine Yoga Asana Championship, was held last October 25, 2009, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Ayala Ave. cor. Gil Puyat. Organized by Bikram Yoga Manila & PruLife UK, objective is bringing yoga to the Filipino consciousness. Beneficiary : A Child’s Dream Foundation, Inc. Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for special children.
