How DREAM Came About
Born from the vision of Dr. Francis Xavier Dimalanta, A Child’s D.R.E.A.M. Foundation is truly a blessing to all special children.
Stemming from the belief that all children are unique, the foundation aims to provide them with the best possible care and monitoring of their health and development. Children with developmental challenges have special needs that are addressed in a holistic manner.
Dr. Dimalanta is the founder and medical director of D.R.E.A.M. A Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrcian, he is also a Fellow of the Philippine Pediatric Society and the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. He received further training required for comprehensive assessment and evaluation, and is part of a multi-disciplinary team whose main goal is to help a child achieve his full potential.
The D.R.E.A.M. Team is comprised of licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists and special education (SPED) consultants, who can address the needs of the special children. They perform evaluations and design individual programs to improve abilities in daily living, speech, and language.
The team assists children who are slow to walk and talk, those not learning well, high-risk infants, and others who have:

A Child’s D.R.E.A.M. Foundation has helped over 1,000 children since its conception in 2003.
